Rajen Dorasami and France L'Aiguille have been appointed as joint national coaches of Mauritius.
They succeed Elvis Antoine - who emigrated to Canada - and Rajesh Gunesh, sacked in September last year.
It is the second time that the pair will take charge of the team.
They handled the side between 1998 and 2002, resigning after a big loss during the qualifying series for the 2004 African Cup of Nations.
Dorasami told BBC Sport the pair hope to do a better job of managing the side, which have to defend their Indian Ocean Island Games football title in Madagascar in 2007.
"To achieve this goal, we have to bring some new players into the national side and we have a few in mind," he said.
But the immediate task of the coaches is to prepare for April's Cosafa Cup game against World Cup bound Angola.
