Pivac is the former double NPC title-winning coach of Auckland

New Zealander Wayne Pivac will coach Fiji at next year's Rugby World Cup after the Fiji Rugby Union rejected calls for his sacking.
Pivac had been under fire after Fiji lost 47-18 and 80-9 to Australia A in July, prompting critics to question Fiji's World Cup preparations.
But he will stay on pending monthly reports on the team's progress.
"We had a lengthy discussion and Wayne Pivac will remain head coach," said FRU boss Keni Dakuidreketi.
"This will, however, see Wayne presenting the board a written report each month or earlier to outline what is happening building up to the World Cup."
Fiji also finished third in the inaugural Pacific Five Nations tournament earlier this year.
Pivac, who guided Auckland to back-to-back provincial titles in New Zealand in 2002 and 2003, was appointed to the Fiji role in 2004.
