RAMALLAH, October 7, 2023 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas has ordered the government and relevant authorities to immediately send all available resources to alleviate the suffering of our people in the Gaza Strip, currently under an Israeli aggression.
President Abbas said the people of Gaza are facing an all-out Israeli aggression, demanding that everything possible be done to immediately relieve their suffering of under Israel’s aggression. He reiterated that Gaza will not stand alone in the face of this aggression, just like the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories.
The President held the Israeli government responsible for the cut-off of basic supplies, including water, electricity, and food, to the people of Gaza.
He called on the international community to urgently intervene and compel the Israeli occupation authorities to fulfill their legal obligations towards the Palestinian people, who are suffering from the effects of the Israeli blockade and wars.
