infos : FrDisplay

Baudline needs a special color palette file not included into the standard download tar file. Such palette can be download from this public link:
https://owncloud.ego-gw.it/index.php/s/P9iQrg9lYIR2kkl

or with the following command:

wget https://owncloud.ego-gw.it/index.php/s/P9iQrg9lYIR2kkl/download -O auriga.palette

Copy auriga.palette into $HOME_LIBS/BAUDLINE/baudline_1.08_linux_x86_64/palettes/ directory.

Attention

For some unknown reason Red Hat decided to remove the Helvetica and the legacy fixed-point bitmap fonts. These very basic fonts have been a staple in Linux distributions for more than a decade and now you need to install these “optional” fonts. See Baudline FAQ.

On Scientific Linux run:
sudo yum install xorg-x11-fonts-misc

Note

set HOME_BAUDLINE environment variable in watenv script.
