A mid-winter visit to the Botanic Garden at Smith College (specifically to the Lyman Conservatory) provides a much needed splash of color in the otherwise black and white landscape of a New England winter.
This particular trip to the conservatory was inspired by Paul and Paula’s weekend visit. It answers the question, where do you take visitors from Texas outdoors in New England in February if you want to keep them as your friends?!
The conservatory is in the process of setting up for the bulb show. I anticipate many more colorful flower photographs sometime in mid-March.
