Condor SpellChecker has the largest dictionary for BlackBerry in the market, but just in case a word is not recognized, you can add it to your personal dictionary so SpellChecker will recognize it next time. Condor SpellChecker is server-based so there are no limitations to the number of words you can add.

Medical and legal dictionaries are included and can be customized and extended.

Phonetic matching

Phonetic matching provides alternatives for misspelled words that sound similar to the unrecognized word. Condor SpellChecker suggests corrections to the unrecognized word that are spelled similar and that sound similar.

Easy

Condor SpellChecker has a unique split-screen user interface that is fully integrated in the BlackBerry menu. The screen is split in two, the upper half showing the message been checked and the lower half showing the suggestions. Simply use the track-wheel to scroll over the required word and select an option from the menu or use one of the hotkeys.

The following languages are supported: English (US, UK, CA), French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Icelandic, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazilian).

System requirements

• BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.0 or higher
• BlackBerry handhelds with software version 3.8 or later
• Microsoft Windows 2000 service pack 4 or higher
• A server with an Intel Pentium III processor or compatible
• 512 MB RAM, 1 GB disk space, 10 Mbps LAN connection

For up to 50 users, Condor SpellChecker can be installed on the same server as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
