Peace and Conflict 2008 Companion Web site

Welcome to the Peace and Conflict 2008 companion Web site. The site offers access to a set of materials that supplement Peace and Conflict 2008, CIDCM's biennial report tracking global trends in conflict, democratization, and instability. The supplemental material has been organized by chapter. Some chapters feature a suite of analysis tools based on the actual data presented in the book. Users can explore the data in greater depth, making manipulations and modifications to produce their own customized analyses. Additionally, users can modify graphs presented in the book. For example, it is possible to restrict the graphical presentations to look only at specific geographic regions or time periods. In addition, this site features an archive containing replication data sets, as well as a number of appendices with material that supplement analyses presented in the book. As time goes on, we will add to and revise the set of materials found here, so please be sure to visit often.
