information security resource and portal

This site is back up as a resource of legitimate information for the security community. Generally, I support freedom of information, and from pro-security point of view respect both white-hat philosophies, 'full disclosure' as well as 'responsible-/non-disclosure'. That being said, this site will offer ONLY information and tools to IMPROVE security, NOT TO BREAK IT. Why? First, the distribution of 'malicious' proof-of-concept attacks is unfortunately getting too controversial, and I don't see myself in the duty of getting in the line of fire. Secondly, I'm trying to work with the security community, not against it, and am not willing to provide anything for malicious crackers, institutions, or simply bored teenagers with way too much time on their hands.
This is not the place to go if you want to commit illegal actions. Mailing me support requests for such activities will be ignored, and advance notifications of illegal activities to me may force me to report you to law enforcement authorities. The original disclaimer stays the same: This site is intended for informational and educational purposes, and does not encourage malicious activities. All information on this site is licensed either by GPL or implicitly by BSD license. Accuracy of information and author's liability for any direct or indirect results of applying this information is hereby disclaimed. All content of this site may be copied, translated, and re-used freely *without any further permission*.
