Jim Connelly
Senior Vice President, Consumer Products

Jim Connelly joined WWE as Senior Vice President, Consumer Products in July 2009 overseeing WWE's Global Licensing, Home Entertainment, Book and Magazine publishing.

Prior to joining WWE, Connelly was a founding partner with The Convergence Network executive search group and also Brand Art LLC, a corporate consultancy in sports and media.

Connelly spent the majority of his career—25 years—at the National Football League, where he was the Managing Director of NFL Europe/NFL Europe League (EL), based out of London. Connelly’s responsibilities included leading all NFL business, brand, marketing, media, fan and player development initiatives across the U.K. and Europe. During his tenure, Connelly opened successful new EL franchises, set EL season attendance and sponsorship records, established a major new advisory board consisting of CEOs from top German and U.S. corporations, and created powerful new strategic alliances with the leading German television and news organizations.

Connelly also held the position of SVP, NFL Consumer Products, where he negotiated first time license agreements with the three largest global footwear/apparel makers and positioned the NFL as the first sports league to introduce a TV home shopping program on QVC. In addition, he served as VP, International Marketing, and Senior Marketing Manager for Corporate Sponsorships.

Prior to his career at the NFL, Connelly held key marketing positions at Colgate-Palmolive and Cunard.

Connelly has a Master’s Degree from The College of William and Mary and a BA from Georgetown University. He resides in New York with his family.
