Media accreditation system


Media accreditation for upcoming FIBA events

This section will allow you to apply for media accrediation for all upcoming official FIBA World Championship events.

These services are available to professional media representatives worldwide and are designed to ensure that application for accreditation is kept simple and free from administrative hustle. We remind you that only professional members of the media will be considered for accreditation.

Please note that the procedures described below are accreditation applications only and thereby do not guarantee the granting of press passes.

Applicants will be informed of the success of their accreditation requests as specified in each respective application form.

There are currently no accreditation application processes underway. Please visit this section regularly for information about accreditation for FIBA events.

2011 FIBA World Championships

• FIBA U19 World Championship for Men in Latvia, 30th June - 10th July 2011: the application process is now open. Click here to apply. The deadline for registration is 31 May 2011.
• FIBA U19 World Championship for Women in Chile, 21st July - 31st July 2011: the accreditation process is now open. Click here. The deadline for registration is 18 June 2011.

2011 FIBA Continental Zone events

• 2011 EuroBasket: the accreditation application process is ongoing, the deadline for application is 15th May for EuroBasket women and 15th June for EuroBasket men. Click here to register with or login to the FIBA Europe online media centre before submitting your request.
