General Information about participating in IEA training activities
All workshops and courses are FREE to attend (subject to available places), but participants may have to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Please check individual course details to see what financial assistance is available.
Some workshops and courses are by open registration. Selection criteria may still apply. Please check the details of the particular event.
Attendance at certain workshops and courses is by invitation only (as they have been agreed in advance with the recipient countries). The IEA will typically contact the relevant institutions and organisations in the countries concerned to invite nominations. If you are a professional from one of these countries and are interested in attending an event but are not sure whether your organisation has been invited, please contact us by e-mail at: training.programme@iea.org
Request a dedicated IEA training event
National and regional level institutions (e.g. central government, regional associations, multilateral institutions) may request dedicated training (additional to the list above) in one or more of the available themes. Please contact the IEA at training.programme@iea.org and we will arrange for a discussion to explore the available options.
