There are more reports out England today that 14-year-old Taliban shooting victim Malala Yousufzai is responding well to treatment and has a good chance of fully recovering without any brain damage. Adam Elick of The New York Times reports on Facebook that she has come out of her coma (though she is not fully concious) and appears to have feelings in all her limbs, suggesting that she hasn't suffered any permanent physical damage as result of her attack. Malala was flown to the United Kingdom this weekend after having a bullet removed from her skull by doctors in Pakistan. She will likely face many months of treatment and rehabilitation, but all signs so far have been very encouraging and she is likely to get top flight care from here on out, as supporters around the world have rallied to her cause. Malala and two of her classmates were shot by Taliban gunman on their way to school last week, in retaliation for her BBC blog that criticized their activities in Pakistan.
