Project leader of cmus (Timo Hirvonen) has disappeared in june 2008; last git commit from him is dated 2008-06-01 (http://repo.or.cz/w/cmus.git/). His last email to cmus-devel mailing list is https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=20080517150727.37da395d.tihirvon%40gmail.com&forum_name=cmus-devel
Several tries to contact Timo Hirvonen have failed.
A fork (cmus-unofficial, http://github.com/JasonWoof/cmus-unofficial) has been developed by a community of developers and has been first announced on 2008-11-17 (https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_name=20081117093316.GC6608%40jasonwoof.com)
The project is well alive in its unofficial branch, but since the distributions and google only know about the official cmus, it would be useful if I, on behalf of the current team can become project administrator.
