This might be the perfect step on point for me. I've been thinking of getting my 6 year old this game and this works out great! Plus I can save a few dollars for noot buying the Wii version!

Good way to get rid of those 8GB Wii U that nobody wanted.

I was really excited when I first saw this in the Gamestop BF ad a few days ago, until somebody here pointed out to me that it's 8GB.

It's still a good price for parents buying it for their kids, just not as good as 32GB.

I can imagine this will be under a few tress Xmas morning.

Wow, this is an awesome bundle for the families out there! I mean, so is the Mario + Luigi bundle, but this might be more attractive to the families looking for a reason to upgrade to the "new" Wii.

@MERG Now to convince my wife. When the Zelda bundle came out we just had too many expenses. Now with CHRISTmas coming I think I can swing it. Of course see will say you just want it so I can play it. Sure but if that was truely the case then I would get the Zelda one over this. Plus you can't beat the extra game as well. I don't care about the gig size either as both modles really require much more memory anyways!

@MERG Well there is only one game left I want this year because Batman turned out to be short. Sonic turned out to be bad and still waiting for a sale or two before I pick anything else up so what else am I going to buy lol!

Basic or deluxe is no difference, if you want to go digital you will need an external hard drive anyway. And the deluxe 10 % promotion is crap since digital games are more expensive than physical even with the 10% discount.

It's definitely something I'd consider if it makes it to Australia. Of course we'd probably end up with a PS4 bundle instead after what happened with Giants here.

I think this is a pretty good deal. As for the Basic system, it shouldn't matter too much. You will just need a hard drive a little quicker. Either way you go, you have to pick one up eventually.

All of these bundles = building the install base. You want this game? Why not buy a bundle and save? Nice work with follow through on the plan, Nintendo!

This is a great idea to tempt kids who are hardcore skylanders but still haven't made the jump (since the game is in practically every platform). Let's hope it sells!

I just wanted to point out you're not really missing out on much with a Basic, even with a 32gb model, you're going to need to buy an external hard drive eventually. I have a Basic, and I dont regret it. The Wii U was meant to be white, anyways.

I love my Wii U in black. It hides below my TV and with a wave of a hand it jumps to life and entertains all whom enter my abode.

Put a Wii U Party bundle on the side, dig out the old Wii remotes and it will make a great family vacation.

why does the white Wii U HAVE to be basic? they can make a premium white Wii U, doesn't bother me as i prefer the black version

This is a brilliant bundle. Now they've just got to promote the heck out of it to kids and their parents.

I'm glad to see Nintendo making more bundles, I don't care for Skylander's but alot of other people do so that will increase the system's sales, and it's great that it also comes with Nintendo Land as well. Though I wish Nintendo would scrap the 8GB "Basic" system and only use the 32GB system. The "Basic" set isn't much cheaper despite having alot less room.

@Gridatttack Yes your VC games can be moved to an external hard drive. mine are all on my external drive as are the eshop games I have.

I do sincerely hope that this whole Skylanders "thing" blows past, leaving me untouched by it, by its end.

Anyone who thinks this is a good deal is wrong. The basic just dance and the basic Wii party u bundles all include Nintendo land same as this, but they also include a Wii mote plus and a sensor bar which this package does not and they are the same price.
My final dampener is I read this games crashes a lot on Wii U. Sorry for all the optimistic news.

SWEET BUNDLE! I own both, but if I didn't, I would consider this.
