Degree Requirements

Carnegie Mellon’s Mechanical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

A complete description of the program and degree requirements can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog, including a curriculum outline by semester.  Prerequisites for the courses are indicated on the flowchart. To ensure prerequisites are completed and to prevent scheduling conflicts, students should discuss changes to the typical course sequence with their department academic advisor.
