Senior Manager of Accounting

As WithMe's Sr Manager of Accounting/Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations. This role reports to the Head of Finance. This position will work remotely; however, there may be travel up to 10%, including overnights. This position offers equity in the company through stock options.

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Assist with preparing financial statements and management reports on a timely basis; assist with analyzing financial data and trends.
• Determine and manage intercompany transactions; oversee Treasury operations; supervise balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with conducting ad hoc financial analysis.
• Implement accounting controls as necessary.
• Manage a team of accounting staff and outsourced resources.

To Be Successful

The Sr Manager of Accounting/Controller will be a self-starter and data-driven individual with prior experience in a fast-paced environment, and as such, qualified candidates will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years managing staff.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, in particular revenue recognition and consolidated financial statements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work remote; ability to travel as needed.
