Ok, so - I haven't really used much of AI's last couple of weeks due to private matters.

Today I was asking Copilot something and I noticed Notebook button. Curious what is it about I opened it and prompted it some generic "write me a story".

I experienced my small but fair share of GPT4, and it didn't felt like that.
Is 4o getting rolled out slowly?
Because the things it wrote, the words and language it used - again, never seen things of that quality.

Or maybe it is something else?
Is there any info on model used behind Notebook?

Copilot (Bing AI) stuck on what seems to be Balanced mode (light blue colors). Fast responses, but very terrible quality. What's going on? Is anybody else experiencing this? On mobile, Copilot still has the "Use GPT-4" switch turned on and is using the Creative mode color scheme. Links included.

  • r/bing - Copilot. Microsoft Edge, Windows 11. Logged in as usual, nothing changed from previous uses, except the forced usage of 'Balanced' or whatever mode this is, which isn't 'Creative'.
  • r/bing - Microsoft Copilot, Android.
  • r/bing - Broad answers regarding the prompt. Not the settings you'd recommend to somebody else.
  • r/bing - 'Creative' mode color scheme. Detailed answer that is more specific about the prompt. Settings are recommended with explanations as to why for each one, rather than broad settings.
