Bertram Neville Brockhouse was born on 15 July 1918 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.[1] His parents are Israel Brockhouse and Mabel Neville.
He married Doris Isabel Mary Miller on 22 May 1948 in Kirkfield, Ontario Canada. His father was listed as I Brockhouse.[2]
He was awarded the Nobel prize in Physics in 1994 "for the development of neutron spectroscopy" (with Clifford G. Shull).[1]
He died on 13 October 2003 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.[1]
