Discussion of AfD[edit]

Khoikhoi, why is this page being considered for deletion?

How is it any different from the following entries?

The difference is that you're advertising. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertsing your products. It looks like the article is not going to be deleted, but would you be able to fix this article so it doesn't sound like a big self-promotion page? Quarl, I disagree with your last edit. It is widely used for code generation. See http://bosco.tigris.org/ and this interview http://www.codegeneration.net/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=39:

The code generation article currently confuses code generation as the compiler phase after lexing, parsing, and before assembly, with layman use of the phrase "code generation" for anything that generates source code. I initially assumed the article was about compiler code generation only. See talk there. I will fix the code gen article later. I'm okay with leaving it in Category:Code generation for now. —Quarl ^(talk) 2006-01-14 02:01Z
