Initially, I never knew I’d be writing any article like this as the content here is just a synopsis of my research on the web. why ? because – Recently I’d applied for adsense for this same website but got rejected many times. I do not believe in plagiarism, it’s a sin in Hindu religion. I love to write and I and this website is my passion. There was nothing that my site did to violate Google’s policies. So I decided to dive into this matter and here’s the result of my investigation.
Well, the biggest mistake that I did is that I applied for adsense from India. No, Google doesn’t have any kind of racial discrimination against us Indians; I’d rather say that we Indians are solely responsible for our plight. Let me tell you how it all started. My bike broke down so I’d to take a local bus to reach a place. In the bus there were a series of advertisements stating “EARN MONEY FROM HOME USING INTERNET: Rs 15000 to 20000 for PART TIME work: NO SKILLS REQUIRED “. For a poor and jobless situation here, no one throws in money and jobs so easily and hence something like this does sound like a scam. I love frauds, I love to expose them to save those innocent newbies from being cheated. So I made a curious phone call to the number mentioned on the ad and got a brief info about their business.
The system works like this: They get you to a network of people who have been using adsense. Firstly they assess your knowledge about adsense. If you know absolutely nothing about it- you are recruited. All you need to have is Basic English language skills and an internet connection at home. They give you some search engine keywords, which you have to honorably type into that Google search bar. Their client websites are listed in the search engine results. Then you have to click on that website told to you and stay on the website for a predefined period of time. (These guys sure know how to beat Google’s analytics). Now click on any of the ads put up by Google and stay there for some more time and hurray! you have done your job. This whole episode looks so real and is presented as a genuine visitor to the Google adsense team. So you keep repeating the same procedure for 2 hours and your job is done. I’m not saying they do not pay you your salary, but I have no information about this. Now if you are a newbie, you don’t know what the other guy whom you are working for is earning, may be 1$ a click (52Rs). You get paid like 5 Rs for doing that job. These fraudulent publishers earn their share with such a minor investment. So who’s at a loss?
Advertisers!! They have to pay Google for ads that do them just no good
And we Indians!! Bloggers like you and me find it almost impossible to get an adsense account.
Google!! I’m really not bothered about them. But yes, they suffer the most!!
Who wins?
Those fraudulent publishers. They know exactly how Google adsense system works because they have not been caught by Google yet. Come on, they are in business since so many years and poor Google takes on the frustration on everybody!!
The poor guys who is recruited!! I’m not sure if they are even paid anything!! Hundreds of people sign up with them and even if a few work for less than a month, the job is done. So the recruiters would probably be throwing them out within a month.
I’d be uploading pics of such advertisements soon. Similar part time job offers ads come regularly in newspapers like Deccan chronicle too (refer Mr Amit Agarwal’s blog URL http://www.labnol.org/internet/blogging/google-adsense-click-fraud-india-how-invalid-clicks-are-generated/2408/
There are many young poor jobless Indians who fall prey to such illegal activities. Result is the economic loss that the country suffers. For the gains of a few adsense publishers, thousands of bloggers or even more from India have to suffer. Our country gets labeled as “CLICK FRAUD COUNTRY”. Hence here I’ve put forth a complete picture and the responsibility of stopping such activities lies not just with Google but also with you. My investigation is still under process and soon I’d be uploading a detailed report soon. Thank you for reading
There were speculations that advertisers complained that traffic from countries like India, China and other Asian countries was hardly productive which led to Google adsense ban (strict policies) in such countries, But now the real story is up and in front of you. It is not the meager economic productivity that has driven Google to take such a step but it is the fraudulent practices due to which Google has made its policies stringent. So if you hail from such countries and wish to work with adsense then
1. develop your blog for a minimum period of six months, adding not necessarily very great but of course unique content.
2. have enough diverse content so that adsense can fetch more ads
3. Never fall into ring cheat as you and your blog may get blacklisted.
4. Educate anybody you come across with the information provided above and how it helped you!!
Next article is on adsense ready fraudulent websites: I’d love to have your contribution!! Thank you
So if you have applied for adsense and not getting it approved, then simply wait like me for eight months to get it rejected or simply beg google to approve you!! there’s no other option for us dear!! And yes, google adsense is the best so opting for anything other publisher network won’t earn you much unless you are a very famous blogger.
